Sauces’n Love Pink Pesto Tuna Burgers
Ingredients:
- One Jar Sauces’n Love Pink Pesto
- One pound skinless tuna steak, cut into 1/4-inch pieces (about 2 1/4 cups)
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon or 1 teaspoon dried
- 1 teaspoon German mustard
- 1 tablespoons mayo
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 6 Whole Wheat Burger Buns
- 6 large tomato slices
- One large bunch of watercress
Preparation:
- Combine ingredients #2 #10 in medium bowl.
- Add 2 tablespoons of Sauces’n Love Pink Pesto and 1 tablespoon mayo and mix well.
- Form into 6 1-inch-thick patties. Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tuna patties; cook until just firm to touch, about 3 minutes per side.
- Place bottom slice of toasted bun on each of 6 plates.
- Top each with burger. Spread burgers generously with Sauces’n Love Pink Pesto.
- Top each with tomato slice, watercress and bottom slice of bun.
- Serve immediately, passing remaining pesto.
