The olive lovers’ sauce. We substituted the classic anchovy with habanero pepper for to keep the sauce vegetarian and cater to the American taste. This is the most complex sauce we make; starting with a sauté of garlic and habanero pepper, capers and olives are added to intensify the flavor foundation. We then add tomatoes, and finish the sauce with parsley and marjoram. Best in category for texture and flavor this sauce comes from southern Italy.
